The month of Spring

20th March begins the start of Spring.

I think Spring may be my favourite season.

The flowers start to show and we get some colour in our lives outside.

The weather should start warming a little, although it has been known to snow in Spring, i hope this year is different.
It’s the start of grass cutting, i don’t mind cutting the grass and quite like the smell.
The sun shines through the windows giving you a warm glow if in the light.
The house looks nicer in the sun, brighter inside.
The winter hats/gloves can hopefully be put away along with the snow boots, sledge and snow all in one outfits.
You get an excuse to eat chocolate, being Easter.
Trees start to have leaves back on their branches.

The sun is shining

Last 2 days we have had sunshine and it has been lovely, certainly brightens up my mood. On the walk to taking Amy to school i had to open my coat as i was too warm. Wow this is what it feels like when Spring is just round the corner and winter is over and hopefully all the snow has been and gone for another year.

Looking forward to putting hat/gloves away and getting out the tshirts and shorts (ok so that may be a fair bit away, but this is the start!)

In the sunshine i don’t mind housework, although not a favourite thing to spend my time doing for some reason the sun makes it that little bit easier. Surely i’m not the only one who thinks this? Hmm..maybe?

Soon be time to build the trampoline and let the kids outside in the garden to play instead of being stuck indoors after school. The lighter nights i am also looking forward to, but it may stop the kids going to bed for school, because it will start to get light at that time.

I would plant some flowers but Tilly seems to enjoy ripping them apart and unfortunately the way the garden is there isn’t much i can do to stop that. Hopefully next year when we would’ve been posted the garden will be better laid out and i can fence a bit off for flowers and veg 🙂
