Ohso chocolate review

I got the privilege of being sent these chocolates to review. I was very excited when they arrived!!

I got given 2 7 pks and 2 single orange flavoured bars. They come in little individually wrapped packets. At first i thought i would need to eat them all in one go as no way could a tiny bar satisfy my chocolate cravings while trying to eat healthier. Once i eat a little bit of chocolate there is no stopping me!

I am not a huge fan of dark chocolate, but these were delicious and i didn’t feel the guilt going through me, when on one naughtier day i decided to have 2! I may have been converted to dark chocolate by these little fellas.

For starters these are only 72 kcals per bar!!
It contains probiotics which have been tested to find that one bar is 3 x more effective than most good for you probiotic drinks. Great to think a bar of chocolate is actually helping me out.
Great for those on special diets as it is also gluten, cholesterol, nut and wheat free.

When i opened the packet it was different to what i expected. Tiny cubes of chocolate connected together, as if a big bar had been made to size, for these.

The orange has a little tang to it, it very much tasted like i was eating jaffa cakes and made the delight of eating these bars that little bit more exciting.

For those on Weight Watchers i have worked it out to be 2pp which is great for a chocolaty snack.

You can order these chocolate bars from Ohso website and there is currently an offer on at the moment with half price on your first order of a 7pk plus free delivery. RRP is: £3.99

Moulds for cakes, chocolate and all things ‘nice’

I have since December been a bit addicted to these! I haven’t many but look alot on ebay at whats on offer trying to find an excuse to bring some more. With all cakes finished until March for the mothers birthday, i have no more excuses! I bought 2 Lego ones for Thomas’ birthday cake, and thought they were fab Lego cake

In December I found a shop on facebook, Baked by me i saw a friend had liked it and it looked good, so off i went for a look. An hour later i was still umming and ahhing over which moulds to buy, i wanted them all! Within that hour, i looked around their site. There  was some fabulous stuff.
Cookie mixes in lovely glass jars perfect for birthday/mothers day presents. Tea sets, cake stand and many more kitchen items that can excitement any woman, wife and mother!

I finally decided on 3 moulds a jigsaw one, mice one and penguin one, latter to use over the Christmas holidays. Something else jumped into the basket too, i couldn’t resist the heart shaped measuring spoons!

Chocolate penguins in use along with the homemade cupcakes:

They were so easy to use with chocolate, now need to work out how i get different colours on the chocolate, which means i may have to ‘treat’ myself to some more moulds…

It’s such an awful word to hear or say. Why can’t our bodies just keep us skinny whatever we eat? It would be so much easier!

So my diet starts in the New Year. You may remember a post on the dvd workout ’30 day shred’ how i started that and was determined to carry it on? Yes, well that kind of went out the window. I done the first day. Yep that’s right i lasted a blooming day! Ha! I am looking at joining Weight Watchers in the New Year, and starting up the exercise dvd again, and i will stick to it!

Since having kids i have found it so hard to keep to diets. I moan i am fat, next minute i am sat down eating crisps and chocolate. It is just too hard to stick to it.

I am going to try my hardest in the New Year, i promise!

My downfall is crisps, more than chocolate. I love crisps! I don’t drink much alcohol in the month so atleast i won’t have that to cut down from, that is one good thing. Although i have just bought a bottle of wine, but it is for New Year celebrations, so it’s forgiven.

Maybe i should put back my diet starting 2nd Jan instead of 1st? Hangovers don’t accept healthy food, need big fat greasy breakfast and a bag of crisps to try help me feel better, hmmm.
