Books

I have just finished reading ‘Kitty and her sisters’ by Maureen Lee. I really enjoyed the book, had a good flow and the ending was just right for the book. I did at some points got a little confused with who she was talking about as there were a fair few people coming in and out during the book. That was probably partly my fault as i have been trying to finish it for a few months but not having the time.
Now i have made time for reading, and am starting to go to bed 30minutes before i used to, just to get some reading done.

My next book i have lined up to read, which i’ll be starting tonight is ‘The Gatecrasher’ by Sophie Kinsella. Love this author, the humour is just right and it always keeps me wanting to read more, so i am hopeful this will be just as good. I have one more book lined up in my draw and then it will be another trip to the charity shops for some more.

50 Shades Of Grey

I am a bit behind on this book, but tonight i finally finished the last book of the trilogy! First book i enjoyed, second i was a bit bored but carried on reading as i wanted to know his secret. 3rd book i was still a little bored until half way when it got more exciting, more action happening (not in the bedroom department), and i couldn’t then put it down. I won’t spoil the ending incase people are reading it still, it was good but not one i would read again, it was too repetitive for me, i found myself skipping the racey parts, to get to better parts, which in a way contradicts the whole story and the reason as to maybe why the book was first written.

So my date with Mr Grey is over. I need a comedy to read, i love Sophie Kinsella but so far have read them all. Any recommendations welcome.

Goodbye Mr Grey, may we meet again in a film perhaps?!
