Spring/summer time

Today where we are it is sunny. The sky is blue with a few white clouds, the daisys have blossomed along with the daffodils and you can hear a fair few lawn mowers cutting the grass. It brings a smile to my face, the world looks prettier to me in the sun than the snow. I don’t mind cutting the grass, others i’m sure hate it, but the smell of newly cut grass brings a smile to my face.

This afternoon i will be cutting the grass, navigating the trampoline so i can cut underneath and navigating it back to the exact spot it was on. The garden is horribly uneven and took me and the hubby sometime to find a point where all the legs of the trampoline were on the ground!

I now feel like i need a new wardrobe! The summer wardrobe. It’s the wardrobe we all buy loads of stuff when it’s sunny (those few days) and then by the time Autumn comes we change to winter wardrobe and find there is a good amount of clothes that never got worn because the sun never lasted. Same with the children’s wardrobe i tell myself every year do not buy loads and still find myself putting clothes with labels on  in charity bins or trying to sell, because i went too far buying clothes. Another T-short or shorts won’t harm, they are too cute to dismiss..
