Half Term nearly over

We survived ๐Ÿ™‚

Although still not feeling right, had a nap this afternoon to try and sleep it off a bit, but hasn’t worked. I don’t think the weatherman making it snow this morning helped either. Where is the sun? I know we are UK but surely it should be summer by now…

The kids have been relatively good, with some exceptions that we got through. Sorted out the drawing cupboard, pile for Amys, Thomas and Jessicas things, didn’t work well when Jess gets a maths book from Amys side to scribble on. My idea wasn’t the brightest. They have spent quite a while colouring in this half term, so alot of paper is now overflowing the paper recycling bag.
I had hoped to do some baking with the kids but i just didn’t have the energy for that so hope to do some next weekend and maybe start some Easter stuff then too. It also occurred to me this other half of term can’t be very long with Easter being end of March. So before long i will have 2 weeks with the kiddiwinks and hopefully will be much better! I think the chocolate may help me…

Well done! We survived half term too, despite boring grey weather ( not even any snow to brighten things up!). There are certain board games that I may cry if I have to play again soon….20 games of ‘walk the plank’ and twister are enough to last me until, er, Easter…

We’ve been doing loads of colouring too…the old activities are the best

    Lovely blog!

Ahh well done on the board game front. I worry everytime they come out as the 2 older ones fight over who wins lol. I’m hoping Easter holidays will be alot more exciting and i wont be ill this time round make up for the boring half term we just had ๐Ÿ™‚
