Weddings

Love a good wedding, most women will probably try and guess what the brides dress will look like and stand in anticipation waiting to see it!

Why am i talking weddings you may wonder? Not mine that has been and gone 6years ago. We went to a family wedding on 21-23 December, Eeek so close to Christmas you say? It sure was. I prepared for that by wrapping all the kids presents beforehand phew! It was a child free wedding, which we were looking forward to, 2 nights away for ourselves, lovely. The kids got shipped off to hubbys Aunts, and the dogs, sadly had to be put in kennels, for the first time!

Unfortunately for some there was no snow on the wedding day.

Is it just me that that has to tell themselves ‘Don’t shout, be quiet, don’t shout’ When the vicar says ‘Therefore if any man can shew any just cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak, or else hereafter for ever hold his peace.’ or something along those lines. I am not one to shout out, but once that’s read out i have to try my hardest, something in my little brain shouts to me ‘shout something, go on, shout!’
One wedding we went to with Thomas and Amy, was a little embarrassing, we we stayed at the back incase Amy cried (2months old) we gave Thomas some of those yogurt coated fruit packets to eat to keep him still and quiet. The vicar says above and Thomas goes and drops one of the fruit pieces and says ‘Oh no.’ with being at the back i’m not sure how many heard at the front, but the timing was perfect lol.

The wedding was lovely and relaxing, not needing to check i can see the kids 24/7, i’m a bit ott on this! I could go to the toilet alone, eat uninterrupted and drink some alcohol not worrying i had the kids to wake upto. There were some parts of the wedding which was very unique and i hadn’t seen before which were fab, including tables having to stand up and sing a Christmas song for the bride and groom to kiss 😉

Our favours were also a little more special than normal. Little Christmas Trees to plant and grow. Now i am rubbish at keeping flowers alive/plants alive, but i’m determined to success in these wee things. With being forces and in forces housing we are just going to plant the 2 of them, and hope atleast makes it! Then when we get our own house we will then plant in the garden and once big enough add Christmas lights during the festive period. If it survives that far!
